Who We Are...

UK Land Estates own and operate 25 estates in some highly attractive locations throughout the region with more than 1,300 tenants occupying in the region of 20 million sqft of industrial, trade, retail and business space.

Founded in 1989, UK Land Estates has grown through joint ventures and acquisitions.

In 2011 the company formed a joint venture with Highcross, who were themselves aquired by US-based Northwood Investors, a privately-held real estate investment advisor in 2014.
Our team of qualified professionals, who live and work in the North East, have formed productive relationships and partnerships with businesses and public sector organisations in the region, and will be only too happy to discuss how they can help you.

What We Do...

We own a number of development sites across the region and have a successful track record of new build, regeneration and refurbishment on brownfield sites.

We work closely with clients during the process to ensure buildings are designed to their exact specification.
We like to make our estates inviting places for people to come to work – that’s why you’ll see shops, restaurants, hotels and gyms in well-kept, landscaped areas. We take pride in our estates so that our tenants and visitors alike are happy.
We like to keep things personal so have a great tenant liaison team. This is just one way we stay close to our tenants, who are a mix of public and private sector, multinationals and local SMEs – well-known names include Rolls Royce, Greggs, WH Smith, HSBC, Premier Inns and TNT.

Our Portfolio...

Our portfolio includes the giant Team Valley Estate in Gateshead – the first enterprise zone in the country when it opened in 1937.

We also own a number of other large estates including Tyne Tunnel and Teesside Estate amongst others.
